Prayer
We believe in two-way communication with God. When we pause from our busyness and expect God to speak, He surprises us with His interest in talking with us and being involved in our daily lives. The Bible says, 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.' Listening prayer can be a deep source of nourishment, strength and direction in life when practiced in balance with other spiritual disciplines.
We hold one weekly prayer meeting where we pray for the community, the church, New York City and any other events or issues we feel led to pray for. You can expect to experience a real and intimate encounter with the living God at these meetings.
Please feel free to contact the prayer meeting leader before visiting to make sure the group is meeting at the regular time and place before you decide to visit.
