Helping out on Sundays...

...is a great way to meet people and get involved at The River!

We have dozens of volunteers every week who help make our Sunday services as welcoming and meaningful as possible. Joining a Sunday Team is a super way to make your own contribution and meet other people as you work together in a fun environment. E-mail teams@riverNYC.org and let us know if you're interested!

Hospitality Team

Help prepare our after-church snacks, welcome people as they come to service, and hand out programs...help people feel at home!

Kids' Church

Have fun with our kids age 0 through 8 by being a teacher or a teacher's assistant. (Application and background check are required.)  Click here for more info on Kids Church.

Set-Up/Tear Down

Since we rent the space at 7 World Trade Center, we have quite a bit of setting up & tearing down each week. Sign-up to come early or stay late to lend a hand.

PA/Sound

Provide support for worship services by setting-up, running, or tearing-down sound system. Experience is a big plus, but not required. E-mail media@riverNYC.org

Projection

Provide visual support for worship services (lyrics for songs, sermon/announcement slides.) No experience required.
