Get Involved: Small Groups

We believe that Small Groups are at the very heart of what we do as a church.

Community helps us to understand and experience God in new ways. The River's groups are designed to be a safe place to explore questions and experience spiritual growth.

Small Groups generally consist of scripture study, discussion and prayer.

Many people find that involvement in a small group is often the most fulfilling and rewarding aspect of church.

Please contact a small group leader before visiting to make sure the group is meeting at the regular time and place when you decide to visit.

The River Group

The River Group is a ten week class focused on building the foundations of a spiritual life. Expand your prayer life, learn to hear from God for decisions, and understand how God works in the world in an interactive and practical environment. Designed to be both accessible and substantive, the class has something to offer whether you are new to faith or if you've been following Jesus for decades.

Habits Group

Habits Group is a 10 week course on spiritual habits that expand our experience of life. The topics will range from work, relationships, personal growth, meaning, and leadership. The format will consist of discussions around Bible passages and prayer for one another. Everybody is welcome!
