Get Involved: Community Groups
COULD CHURCH INSPIRE deep relationships in New York?
Life seems to work best when we stay connected in meaningful relationships! The bible contains several "one another" verses that challenge us to develop our spirituality within the context of community:
"...love one another... encourage one another...
...accept one another...pray for one another...
...bear one another's burdens...build up one another
...honor one another...be devoted to one another..."
Here at the River, we've found that getting involved in a Community Group can be a great way to develop friendships and to grow spiritually. Community Groups range from 25-40 people and meet bi-weekly. (smaller "sub-groups" meet during the in-between weeks.)
